Structured Childcare Provider

When I was 5, I was pretty sure I’d be a doctor when I grew up, but now I have a BA in Psychology. One thing you should know about me is that I am passionate about helping those in need, especially when it comes to education. I want to share my knowledge and resources, so individuals can succeed in their educational goal. Another thing is that I like meeting new people wherever I go, I am very friendly and talkative.

At the Mom & Dad Project, I am the structured child care provider. My role consists of taking care of children of different school aged children while parents are engaged in parenting classes. I organize activities such as reading and crafts to improve children’s cognitive skills. Also, I am a certified car seat technician, I educate parents about the California law, and I make sure that your child is at the right size of height, age, and weight for specific car seats.

Another role I am part of is reach out and read, I encourage the parents from our clinic to encourage their children early literacy. I’ve been employed at The Mom and Dad Project since July 2020. The best piece of advice I’ve been given is that whenever I am finding myself in doubt, to always remember how far I have come, and how all the obstacles have shaped me into the person I am now.
