I graduated from High School in Cambodia and was studying Media Management for 3 years before I moved to America. When I was 5, I was pretty sure I’d be a teacher when I grew up because my favorite thing to do was write on the whiteboard and pretend to be my sister’s teacher.  

I do Structured Childcare at the Mom and Dad Project, so I get to teach and have fun with the children while their parents are in our free classes. I have been working at the Mom and Dad Project since September of 2024 and it’s been amazing to be part of the team serving the community.  

Something you should know about me is I moved to America in September of 2023, so I have been enjoying experiencing new things here. Another fact about me is I’m going to be a mom soon, so it’s nice knowing all the resources and help I can get from the Mom and Dad Project.  

The best piece of advice I’ve ever been given is, “you can’t control how others behave, but you can always choose how to respond.”
