When I was 5, I was sure I was going to be a vet. I now work as a Structure Childcare at the Mom & Dad Project. Before working here, I used to work all the seasonal jobs up in Big Bear like gift shops and worked as a server so I can say with confidence that I have great customer service. 

I have been working at the Mom & Dad Project since May 11, 2023, so I am their newest employee, but I have been volunteering here and there since 2020. My role here is to secure the safety of your children while you’re taking our classes. I’m also in charge of making the meals for the classes as well as the groceries for the week.  

I love working here and the team is amazing and the most supportive of each other. The best job I’ve had, and you can just tell it’s a great environment by walking in here.  

The best piece of advice I’ve been given was from my sister and that was “Rejection is God’s Protection” and I try to remember that when something doesn’t work out for me.
