Tania Vara
Latino Outreach Coordinator / Educator
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design and a Postgraduate Degree in Marketing, but became a mom 11 years ago and my passion about Parenthood began. I got my Certification in the Nurturing Families Curriculum; I am a certified Child Birth Educator, also certified in Domestic Violence and Trauma & Parenting. In 2020, I got a Certificate in Parental ACEs and Pediatrics: Transforming Well Care. In 2021, I got a Certification in Positive Discipline and as a Community Health Worker.
I joined The Mom & Dad Project team in January 2019. Marrying into a long time Bear Valley Family, I have come to understand the needs of our Hispanic Community. My husband & I were participants in programs at The Mom & Dad Project when expecting both of our children as well as in programs during their infancy. I am well aware of the benefits The Mom & Dad Project can bring and would like to be part of bringing those benefits/programs to our Hispanic community.
